Andrew Wiggins is a reserved kid, but his musical tastes are anything but.
While at last week’s launch of adidas Athletics in NYC, Wiggins told Hip-Hop Wired that his music preferences usually depend on his mood, but he usually throws on something hard before a game.

“Some days it be more smooth, some days it be more aggressive stuff,” Wiggins told Hip-Hop Wired. “When I really want to get into it I’ll listen to Styles P, Jadakiss and DMX.”
Yes, Drake also made the cut.
“If I’m in a good mood already then it can be something smooth,” said Wiggins. “I might listen to some Drake, maybe some AZ. If I’m not in a good mood, or we need to win this game, I’ve been playing bad, this is a big game for me…that’s when I put in that Styles P, that DMX.”
Besides Drizzy, another local on the T-Dot native’s playlist is Smoke Dawg.
He said, “Smoke Dawg is someone I know personally. He’s a big name out in Toronto. He’s a little bit younger than me but he’s getting it done. He’s working hard.”
