Ouch. Maryland center Alex Len had surgery for a partial stress fracture in his left ankle today, according to his agent, and will miss the entire pre-draft process. Len was starting to gain momentum as a possible top-5 pick, but now the 7-footer’s foot problems will certainly be a red flag. The year’s other top center prospect, Nerlens Noel, had surgery on his left knee in February to repair a torn ACL.
