After playing alongside Yao Ming for multiple seasons, Aaron Brooks picked up some popularity in China, as would be expected. HOOPSWORLD is reporting that the point guard may be looking to cash in on that fame: “Aaron Brooks is considering an offer from a team in China, according to sources close to the situation. Brooks has made it clear that he’s open to playing overseas during the lockout. He is extremely popular in China, in large part because of his success with the Houston Rockets. Brooks has a number of endorsements with Chinese companies and has made several trips to East Asia in recent summers.”
