The Detroit Pistons landed the coveted No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and have the opportunity to select consensus top pick Cade Cunningham. The 6-foot-8 guard has all the tools to take an NBA franchise to the next level as a core building block.
With that in mind, the Houston Rockets have been reported to have interest in trading up for that top pick and been extremely aggressive in their pursuit of late according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
While there are quite a few different packages the Rockets could offer, one including guard Eric Gordon has been discussed between the two teams.
