After an 0-2 start to the 2021 season, the Atlanta Dream are rolling, with guard Tiffany Hayes dropping back-to-back 26-point performances in what would be the Dream’s third straight victory.
Atlanta defeated the Dallas Wings, 101-95, on Thursday night after stalling a last ditch comeback by the Wings in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter.
Last night marked the first win for the Dream in their new home, the Gateway Center.

Hayes went 11-16 from the floor, shooting a ridiculous 68.8 percent from the field. The 2012 2nd-round pick is averaging a career-best 17.8 points and 2.0 steals per game this season, while being a lights-out shooter from deep — hitting 58.3% of her shots from beyond the arc in her ninth season with the Dream.
Following last night’s win, Hayes holds the second-most career 20-point games in franchise history, recording her 46th 20-point game in last nights win.
