While the Washington Wizards have had a rough start to the season, Bradley Beal has had perhaps the best season of his career. Playing alongside Russell Westbrook, Beal has averaged a league-leading 33.1 points per game to go along with 5.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists.
This has been something we’ve seen throughout the years with superstars playing alongside Westbrook. In fact, just last week, Beal spoke to Fred Katz of The Athletic and other members of the media and revealed how Westbrook pushes him to be the best he can be.
“We have a guy who pushes us every night. Russ pushes me. He makes sure I’m ready to go. And I think that’s something I’ve definitely channeled this year.”
Although they’re 8-17 right now, the Wizards have won five of their last ten games and have looked quite a bit better. Don’t be surprised if Westbrook and Beal are able to continue to make a push for the playoffs.
