Rising high school senior Michael Porter Jr looked to improve his game by attending Stephen Curry’s Under Armour SC30 Camp. Alongside with Curry, coaches Fran Fraschilla and Tim Legler, helped mentor and improve the young athletes.
“I know I’m not where I wanna be, which is in the NBA one day, and I just got to keep working,” a humble Porter Jr stated in the video.
Porter Jr most recently made a big stir by relocating high schools for his senior year. He left Columbia, MO, to attend Nathan Hale, in Seattle, WA. And that’s not even the juiciest part. He also committed to the University of Washington—wait it gets even better. Nathan Hale’s head coach is none other than Brandon Roy. Yes, that’s right, the former University of Washington standout, NBA All-Star, and Washington state native Brandon Roy.
Safe to say, Porter Jr has been learning from the best.
