Jordan Brand officially unveiled the Jordan Melo M12 today, Carmelo Anthony’s 12th signature sneaker with the brand. The lead colorway pays tribute to the rec center in Baltimore that Melo frequented as a youth, nicknamed “the dungeon.”
The Melo M12 will releas on January 2 for $160, with additional colorways dropping later in the season. Performance-wise, Melo’s new kicks feature a lightweight, flexible silhouette with increased focus on ankle lockdown, plus two Zoom Air units for responsive cushioning and a lower-profile feel, according to Jordan, and “FlightSpeed technology delivers an explosive first step by maximizing the responsiveness of the air units through compression and deflection.”
We’ll have much more on the Melo M12 soon, so keep it locked—until then, scroll through the photos above for a closer look at the shoe.
