The Mario Chalmers era, as expected, is over in Miami. After spending seven full seasons with the Heat, and winning two chips, Chalmers is headed to Memphis.

The deal saves Miami $2.5 million in salary this season. Both Chalmers, age 29, and Beno Udrih, age 33, will be free agents after this season.
