adidas Gauntlet is the second of two qualifying events that culminate with the top 16 and 17U teams competing in championship play at adidasGauntlet Finale, July 8-10 in Atlanta. In addition to Indianapolis, adidas Gauntlet qualifying events included Dallas, April 10-12.
The Gauntlet finale will host the top eight finishers from this weekend’s bracket play, as well as eight at large teams that will be announced in the coming weeks. The top eight teams from Indianapolis are Atlanta Celtics, Brookwood Elite (Canada), Indiana Elite, MBA Hoops (Mississippi), Michigan Mustangs, Team Loaded North Carolina, Team Loaded Virginia and Upward Stars (South Carolina).
Teams will be seeded for bracket play in Atlanta based on their Gauntlet win-loss record culminating with a championship game July 10.
adidas Gauntlet is part of the adidas Uprising basketball program which includes a three-tournament series, elite skills camp, Summer Championship and adidas Nations all designed to showcase the best young players in the country.
