It’s no secret that Shaquille O’Neal was one of the most dominant players in NBA history.
During his days with the Lakers, Shaq was an overwhelming force, constantly snatching impossible rebounds and backing down helpless defenders on the block. LA Shaq was unbelievable. So was Orlando Shaq.
As a rookie with the Magic, O’Neal was similarly unstoppable down low (though he was a little lighter and less refined), and he had the ability to run the floor better than his counterparts. He was basically a one-man team, forcing misses, collecting boards and trucking his way to the rim for buckets. Good luck with that.
