The Dallas Mavericks announced that they’ve inked Ivan Johnson. The bruising Johnson will join the team at training camp. Per the Dallas Morning News:
Johnson spent last season in China. Before that he made stops in Korea, which did not end well, Puerto Rico and Brunei.
“You learn a lot of stuff,” Johnson said when he was with the Mavericks for the summer league. “You meet a lot of good people. You meet a lot of bad people. You learn a lot of common-sense stuff. It’s helped me out a lot.
“I got a chance to go over there and see it. As you get older, you get wiser.”
