Yesterday, together with Reebok Classic, we brought you a special issue dedicated to Allen Iverson. Today, we officially bring you another special offering from Reebok Classic: the limited-edition Question Mid “Banner.”
Set to release on March 14, the Banner Ceremony is Reebok Classic’s ode to the history being made on March 1, when the Philadelphia 76ers retire Iverson’s No. 3 jersey. The homage is visible in every aspect, starting from the release.
For one, there will only be 1,996 issues of the sneaker, all of which will have a unique number (ranging from 1-1,996) on the inner tongue. Additionally, the sock liner is designed to look like a banner billowing in an arena’s rafters, complete with the illustrations of the words IVERSON and PHILADELPHIA.
As for the Banner Ceremony’s outer, the red/blue colorway is a nod to Philadelphia’s uniform. Likewise, the material used for the mid and upper resembles that of a jersey.
All in all, the Banner Ceremony, which will retail for $160, and will be available at locations that are yet to be named.
Congrats, AI!
