We know that the Brooklyn Nets want Kevin Garnett. It turns out that BK is also interested in Paul Pierce. The Boston Celtics and Nets have reportedly discussed a blockbuster trade. Per Yahoo! Sports: “The talks are centering around a package that would include Gerald Wallace, Tomike Shengelia, the expiring deal of Kris Humphries and three future first-round picks, sources said. Garnett has yet to be approached about waiving his no-trade clause, sources said, but there’s a belief that he could be persuaded to agree to a deal should the Celtics and Nets be able to reach an agreement on terms. No deal is imminent. For the Celtics, the chance to clear cap space and gain multiple future draft picks to start the franchise’s rebuilding process would be the lure.”
