On Sunday, junior point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright verbally committed to the University of Arizona, choosing the Wildcats over a bevy of schools such as UCLA, Arizona State, Gonzaga, Washington and USC. Although he’s only 5-9, the Loyola High (CA) guard has long been considered one of the premier players in America, as he can dominate the game on both ends of the floor, change direction on a dime and stay in command throughout. Jackson-Cartwright is averaging 14 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals per game this season for Loyola.
