Just like everyone else in Laker Land, Pau Gasol is excited about the Steve Nash acquisition (assuming, of course, the two of them even get a chance to be teammates.) Per the OC Register: “It remains to be seen whether Nash and Gasol, two of the more skilled passers in basketball, get to suit up as Lakers together next season. The Lakers remain interested in trading either Gasol or Andrew Bynum to alter the makeup of the team. But Gasol said via a Twitcam video chat early Thursday morning from Madrid it would be a ‘huge honor to play alongside Steve.’ Gasol pointed out how Nash has been a dominant point guard ‘as long as I’ve played in the NBA.’ Nash is 38, but Gasol said Nash ‘still has a lot of juice in him. So I look forward to that. I know he makes everyone around him better,’ Gasol said. ‘So it’s an exciting moment, I think, for all the Lakers fans and all the Lakers’ family.’”
