As we seemingly enter the NBA’s “nuclear winter,” League players are finding ways to keep themselves occupied (aka ready for the season, well, what’s left of it anyways) while going around the country and showcasing the closest thing possible to NBA basketball to their beloved fans. On December 2nd, Long Island, NY will host some of the League’s top talent when two-time NBA All-Star and last season’s scoring champ Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, alongside LA Lakers’ Ron Artest, Denver Nuggets’ Gary Forbes, Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving, and Charlotte Bobcats’ Kemba Walker visit the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum to play in the Kidz into Action Stars of the NBA Charity Basketball Game. Other players scheduled to partake in the exhibition include Detroit Pistons’ Greg Monroe, Memphis Grizzlies’ Josh Selby, and Boston Celtics’ Jeff Green.
