In case you’ve been living under a rock, Kevin Love is averaging over 21 points and 15 boards per game so far this season. That’s seven more points and four more rebounds than he averaged last year. Sounds like the early favorite for MIP to us. Anyway, last night, to bolster his All-Star credentials, the 30/30 man dropped a career high in points last night. Check it: “Kevin Love scored 43 points ncluding 17 in the fourth quarter – and had 17 rebounds for the Timberwolves (6-22), who have lost 11 straight on the road and 15 of their last 18 overall. Love leads the NBA in rebounding by a wide margin at 15.6 per game.”
