Last week, a brand new 1-on-1 basketball tournament opened its doors in New York City. It’s called #FIGHTBALL, and it’s built to be the most physically demanding basketball competition of its kind. Players competed for a grand prize of $10,000 at SIR Studios on Manhattan’s West Side.
Games are 8 minutes of full-court 1-on-1 with an 8-second shot clock. Intensity turned all the way up, yup.
Bronx native Mike “Get To It” Tuitt came out on top, out of a field that included former New York Knicks guard Chris Smith. Tuitt, Smith and others will be back in early 2015 for the next #FIGHTBALL tournament.
The event also featured a surprise performance from Styles P and Jadakiss before the final matchup. For more on #FIGHTBALL, hit up their official website here.
