ESPN RISE revealed today the complete roster of selected players for the fifth annual Boost Mobile Elite 24 event, the nation’s premier elite high school boys’ basketball event for underclassmen. The 2010 Boost Mobile Elite 24 will be hosted at Los Angeles’ Venice Beach Friday and Saturday, August 27 and 28.

Twenty of the 2010 Boost Mobile Elite 24 participants are ranked by ESPNU 100 and three are ranked by the ESPNU Super 60. Boost Mobile Elite 24 player profiles and event updates are available at www.espnrise.com/elite24.
Eight participants have committed to colleges: Bradley Beal to Florida, DeAndre Daniels to Texas, James McAdoo to North Carolina, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to Georgia, Michael Gbinije to Duke, Myck Kabongo to Texas, Rakeem Christmas to Syracuse and Shannon Scott to Ohio State.
Boost Mobile Elite 24 participants are selected by high school basketball experts from ESPN RISE, ESPN College Basketball Recruiting and other leading talent evaluators. Players were selected based on their performances at AAU tournaments and national summer camps.
The 2010 Boost Mobile Elite 24 event will consist of a dunk competition titled the Under Armour Slam Dunk Contest, on Friday, August 27, 8 p.m. EDT and the game on Saturday, August 28, 7:30 p.m. EDT; the two will be televised live on ESPNU.
Event sponsors include: Boost Mobile, title sponsor; Under Armour, apparel and slam dunk content; Wilson, basketballs and Gatorade, hydration.
