The New York Knicks announced Monday that they’ve waived Beno Udrih and Metta World Peace. MWP even had a highlight video thanking Knicks fans when the news broke. From the press release:
New York Knickerbockers President and General Manager Steve Mills announced today that the team has waived guard Beno Udrih and forward Metta World Peace.
“We are disappointed that it did not work out for Beno and Metta here in New York,” Mills said. “We thank them for their contributions this season and wish them well.”
