Free agent swingman Donte Greene recently said he’s been in contact with several teams, but that the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers are front-runners to land his services. Greene, a first-round pick in the 2008 Draft, has played the last four seasons in Sacramento, averaging 6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. ESPN.com has the details: “The Kings declined to offer Greene a $2.5 million qualifying offer this summer, making him an unrestricted free agent. Greene told TheCDNetworks.com, a Sacramento internet radio show, that he is in talks with Chicago, New York and Indiana. He called the trio his ‘top three’ possible free-agent destinations. ‘Anybody could pop up at any time,’ Greene told the radio show on Friday. ‘But those are the three that we’re focusing on and trying to work out and get a deal done.’”
