Knicks heading to Brookyln for opening night? Yes, please! (The full 2012-13 NBA regular schedule will be unveiled tomorrow night, but you can expect many more leaks before that …) Newsday has the details: “The Nets’ first regular-season opponent in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn will be the cross-town rival Knicks, according to league sources. Both teams open the 2012-13 campaign with that Nov. 1 matchup, which also will be televised nationally on TNT, the sources said. It will be the first of four meetings between the Knicks and Nets. The Knicks will hold their home opener the next night at The Garden against LeBron James and the NBA champion Miami Heat, according to a report. The Heat eliminated the Knicks in five games in the first round of the playoffs last season.”
