Shawn Marion is Back in the Valley of the Sun

It remains to be seen what kind of reaction he’ll receive from Suns fans: “It’ll be strange,” Steve Nash said. “He’s had one of the greatest Suns careers of all-time. I’d imagine he’d have a great ovation. If he doesn’t, I’d be extremely disappointed.”

Nash could thow him an alley-oop or two for old times sake.

Crazy watching him @ UNLV. He moved incredibly up and down the floor but he played with his back to the backet alot. He still was a monster but I never would’ve expected him to be an season ticket holder to all star weekend. The suns lost a quality piece.

“Hai guys, the Heat didn’t work out, I’m back lolz”

I would think with all the bitching and whining he did trying to get traded he’d hear more than a few boos.

matrix and amare made the suns, not nash or dantoni. it was shawn and amare

basketball fans are really fickle, he should get a reception comparable to AI and KG

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.28 at 2:04 pm
This guy was taking the most shots on the team and getting paid far more than any other player, was one cheap foul away from being an NBA championship, and still complained and whined his heart out how he wasn’t getting enough shots and needed more money and wanted to be traded to a better team.
I’d boo if I was there.

Was it a good trade? Its very debatable I think the heat needs a good center, we lost Alonzo, one of the All-Time Best along with Shaq, yet another..and suns don’t need a center infact they need a foward..So why give up what you needed most? We’ll see what happens

  • Dacre Posted: Nov.30 at 8:00 am
if nash threw him an alley would that be a turnover and an assist…and a dime??

  • Dacre Posted: Nov.30 at 8:01 am
    JoeMama….the Suns need a forward…??? Barnes….. Amare…Hill ….Diaw…..nah…a centre…or a decent back up PG is what they need.

  • mat smith Posted: Nov.30 at 8:05 am
I wonder if Marion holds the record for the most completed alley-oop’s in NBA history, him or Kemp id bet.

  • ClydeSays Posted: Nov.30 at 11:35 pm
So tell me, how is it one of the most selfless PG’s (and supposed nicest guy in the L) has driven away JJohnson, SMarion and now Amare is talking 2010? What am I missing?
