    Who cares.

  • Pic Posted: Nov.14 at 9:37 am
Maybe somebody told him that Jay-Z listened to Barry Manilow too?

  • niQ Posted: Nov.14 at 9:38 am
He can listen to whoeever he wants, he’s killing the league now.

  • Benoit Benjamin Posted: Nov.14 at 9:46 am
Yeah like someone is gonna go and make fun of a 6-9 250 beast who lsitens to that crap.

  • Moose Posted: Nov.14 at 9:50 am
    Barry Manilow . . . ugh.

  • Ryan Jones Posted: Nov.14 at 9:51 am
Can I say that I’m shocked that it took until 9:30 to post this?
Can I also say I like it when people who spend their day posting comments on a basketball website criticize an NBA player for being friends with his favorite rapper? ‘Cause, like, if Jay-Z wanted to be YOUR friend, I’m sure you’d be all, “Nah, I’m good, Jay. I’m my own man. I don’t want to be friends with you, and really, it’s corny that you and LeBron — two insanely famous self-made young(ish) black multi-millionaire moguls — would find so much in common with each other and get along so well. I don’t approve. Just so you know.”

  • Ryan Jones Posted: Nov.14 at 9:52 am
Because I do like that. A lot.

  • Ryan Jones Posted: Nov.14 at 9:52 am
    That said, great headline.

  • Peter Robert Casey Posted: Nov.14 at 9:53 am
Brony gets amnesty. He’s young and music is inadequately taught in our education system.

  • Holly MacKenzie Posted: Nov.14 at 10:04 am
    RYAN JONES! Thanks.

  • Breeze Posted: Nov.14 at 10:25 am
    yeah go ryan!!!

  • Co Co Posted: Nov.14 at 10:25 am
Ryan makes me smile out loud. :P

  • The Ghost of Barry Manilow Posted: Nov.14 at 10:27 am
    nice

  • Mo Charlo Posted: Nov.14 at 10:36 am
LeBron can do whatever he wants.

  • Michael Posted: Nov.14 at 10:41 am
i dont think the jay-z comment took Pic all day to post, and was it really worth the paragraph response Ryan? Geez, who gives a sh*t. You get fired up way too easy over lebron.

  • ciolkstar Posted: Nov.14 at 11:14 am
Ryan is my favorite commenter. Does anyone still want to have the Bron vs Kobe debate? I’ve been on the Bron side of that for the last year or so, but now its becoming painfully obvious. There are no words.

  • riggs Posted: Nov.14 at 11:27 am
listen to coldplay, you girl. btw viva la hova mixtape blend of jay-z and coldplay is effin dope.

  • awesomepossum Posted: Nov.14 at 11:38 am
    Ryan Jones is entertainment.

  • Captain America Posted: Nov.14 at 11:47 am
    So, it ain’t the shoes.

  • Kevin Wilson Posted: Nov.14 at 11:58 am
There’s nothing wrong with Manilow. Anybody who does a duet with Colbert is all right in my book.

  • Roy Posted: Nov.14 at 12:08 pm
    “you know I can’t smile without you…” :D

  • Anton Posted: Nov.14 at 12:40 pm
    Damn Manilow stealing Colbert’s Emmy.

  • Myles Brown Posted: Nov.14 at 12:47 pm
Just in case you guys didnt know, Bron is endlessly defending the good name of Ryan Jones in locker rooms throughout the NBA. So his mancrush is completely justifiable. I just wish Kobe cared about me as much.

  • Myles Brown Posted: Nov.14 at 12:47 pm
    23rd AND 24th. Take that b*tches.

  • Ryan Jones Posted: Nov.14 at 12:56 pm
You didn’t need to do that, Myles. But thank you.

  • Ryan Jones Posted: Nov.14 at 12:58 pm
25th AND 26th. Gail Goodrich AND Kelvin Cato. WHAT?

  • Myles Brown Posted: Nov.14 at 12:59 pm
It helps me ignore the possibility of Secretary of State Clinton.

  • Ryan Jones Posted: Nov.14 at 1:13 pm
Time to move on, homie. She can’t hurt you anymore.

  • Moose Posted: Nov.14 at 1:16 pm
Just wondering, but can’t you guys just walk across the office and talk to eachother? haha, I ain’t got no prollem with it . . . BTW, I know that the SLAM Dome is in NYC, but whereabouts there? I’m going to the area soon, so just wondering where it is so I might be able to drop by . . .

  • Ryan Jones Posted: Nov.14 at 2:13 pm
Hi Moose. Myles lives and works in Minneapolis, MN. I reside in State College, PA. GoogleMaps tells us we are separated by nearly 1,000 miles of American blacktop. So… no.
To your second question: Go to Jay-Z’s bar and look up.

  • ClydeSays Posted: Nov.14 at 3:13 pm
Sheesh. Imagine what would happen if he loaded in some heavy rock or metal? 150 pt games!

  • Moose Posted: Nov.14 at 3:20 pm
Oh. Sorry about my ignorance. Actually, I did know that Myles lives in Minnesota. Would that be the 40/40 club? So you’re saying that it’s on top of the place?

  • Moose Posted: Nov.14 at 3:25 pm
Are there more details available? Like, can you email me a brochure type thing or something of the sort?

  • Ryan Jones Posted: Nov.14 at 4:06 pm
Yes it would be, and yes I am, but not that I’m able to give you, and no, I cannot. Sorry.

  • Moose Posted: Nov.14 at 4:22 pm
It’s all good. I’ll check it out, thanks Ryan.

  • the baconator Posted: Nov.15 at 3:27 pm
Wow… Ryan just wrecked every single perception I had about SLAM. Thanks a bunch, thanks a whole frickin bunch

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Nov.16 at 9:46 am
