The great Kobe Bean Bryant turns 34 years old today. Kobe entered the League in 1996, has been a truly elite scorer since his second season, and is now—16 years into his stellar career—mentioned when discussing the greatest players to ever pick up a roundball. He’s made as many big buckets and highlight reel plays as anybody who’s ever hit the hardwood, so we decided to focus on one specific part of his game for his birthday celebration: the in-your-face, rim-rattling, high-flying throwdowns.
