The Other Gasol is NBA-Bound

Marc Gasol says he’ll be in the League next season, and will likely try and fill the void left his older brother in Memphis.

Well he will have to compete with Kwame Brown. Man that’s going to be an ugly starting lineup. Kwame or a dude that just got into the league.

I hear the lakers are trading the rights to Sun Yue and a box of western conference champion t-shirts to Memphis for Gasol jr’s rights. Thanks again Chris Wallace!

This must be why Pau left after the conference finals, there is only room for one Gasol in the NBA

Marc Gasol and Kwame Brown. Is Jason Collins still with the Grizz next season or is he a FA?

Mo Charlo says:
Marc Gasol has actually been practicing with the Grizz for a couple of years now, he would live with Pau quite frequently. He already knows the system, and considering how any 6′5 D3 bricklayer can equal Crummy Brown’s output, things should probably be better than they are.

Not saying that better than things are now is good, but…

Pau and Marc are the same person. He’s just cashing two checks and logging lots of frequent flyer miles.

Well. It’d be impossible for him to be any softer than is bro. I personally don’t want anything named Gasol anywhere close to my pro basketball team.

The Promise says:
Yeah, and they are both soft.

Pau may be soft but he’s still a beast

I bet the Lakers would have preferred Marc’s hard nosed style of play during the play-offs.

The two Gasol pus*ies are never going to be as relevant as Penelope Cruz and her sisters.

@blackjack
It’s possible to be both soft and a beast; take “Monzie” and his evil nemesis, “Beastor” for example.
Plus, I hear that Pau is a monster of a friend.
Somebody…anybody?…

U guys don’t know what u talkin’ about…
U just come here and write without knowing Have u EVER seen Marc playing? He IS a beast. Marc is REALLY phisical, his game is completely different from Pau. He’s a real 5. So the question woud be if he’s ready to make an impact in a team like the Grizzlies. Comparing him with Oden, who has been just 1 year in Ohio and 1 year injuried, in the SHORT run Marc is HIGHLY prepared to make the same impact on their respective teams. In the long run u never know. but now I think he was the “secret” reason why the Grizz traded Pau, because they (also) got Marc. I can’t wait to see both together at the Olympics, Pau as 4 and Marc as 5. I remenber u they r still World Champs with Spain.
