Our friends at adidas are launching a rare version of Kevin Garnett’s 2008-09 adidas Team Signature Commander shoe. This release was designed to commemorate the Celtics’ historic run at an NBA Championship. adidas will produce only eight pairs per game to be sold at retail (potentially 56 total pair if The Finals go a full seven games). One pair will be autographed by KG and will be auctioned off on NBA.com after The Finals. All profits from the sale of these shoes will go to NBA Cares community partners in the Boston area.
Available at Celtics.com, the TD Banknorth Garden Pro Shop and NBA Store in New York City. Each pair will retail for $1017

Even with the pictures and signature this shoe should still go for about $109.00 max because this air brush artist across town can do it the same thing for $60 to any shoe with our own face. Kinda nice kick respect to the Finals participants still can’t root for Boston so I’ll just enjoy good basketball while it last. PEACE.
