Froggiestyle says:
the good news is, at this point he might hurt the groove of the rotation more than he might help (they do have Gasol and all - Viva Espana)

Let’s all hope Mountain Drew will come back next season and that he will keep on improving like he did this year.

Hey, what does Froggiestyle mean, a mix of French kissing and doggie style ?

I like the nickname gerard. Still, I don’t like the sound of that, especially when young, healthy guys are supposed to be ahead of schedule on tis kind of injuries. I hope the kid will be back soon at his best, I wanna see the lakers show with him back in the mix.

DP says:
Kid is going to be fine if he has a work ethic like Amare. He just has to work really hard to get back to 100 percent. Once he does, the Lakers will be the 2008-2009 champs as well as the 2007-2008 champs. Damn that’s good!

Eliezer says:
@DP: The diff between him and amare however is that they have those voodoo healers in PHX

If Drew was Jason Kidd’s age, I’d be worried but he’s only 20 yrs. old so I think he’ll be fine. Can’t wait to see these guys play together next year. Don’t worry Drew, your still getting a ring.

King David says:
It seems like he never played this year

rainman10 says:
I think Amare and Kidd had microfracture surgery, which, if I’m correct is a little more serious than arthroscopic.

Gotta agree with the first poster. Laker medical staff might have some competancy issues. Chris Mihm repeated ankle issues, Trevor Ariza finally coming back from a broken bone, Andrew Bynum has a “minor” knee injury that should take 6 weeks to heal. Here we are over 16 weeks later and NOW he’s having surgery?
