Arenas Not Playing Despite Medical Clearance
A little over a week ago, Gilbert was blaming those darn team doctors for keeping him in street clothes. According to Arenas, he was ready to play but they were holding him back. And now, the other side of the story has come out.
The problem isn’t with the overly cautious doctors; Gil is apparently the one who isn’t ready to hit the court.
In an interesting new twist to the Gilbert Arenas situation, Arenas was cleared to play on Saturday by team doctor Marc Connell. That means Arenas could have played as soon as Sunday against the Lakers.
All talk, Gilbert? So unlike you!
The Wizards are hosting the Bucks tonight, and Arenas is not expected to be in uniform.
Be careful what you wish for, Gilbert. Ready or not, you might just get it.

Maybe Agent Zero has Post Traumatic Stress? All of this has to hurt his free agency.

Zero needs to seek professional help. The man is off his nut, whacked out, crazy. There is a disturbing pattern going…….

You have completely mischaracterized events. He wanted to play a week ago and then the doctor told him to wait another week. This hurt his confidence in the health of his knee. A week later the doctor tells him (over the phone no less) that he can now play, but he’s already shaken his confidence just a week prior. He rushed back after the 1st knee sugery and where did that get him? Honestly, what would you do with less than 10 days left in the regular season after having 2 knee surgeries in a year, a waffling doctor and, yes, free agency on the line? Good job of selecting what facts you want to present Marcel!

Next season whe he’s winning games in the final seconds again, you guys will hop back on the bandwagon. Although Gil should remember he doesn’t always have to say something, he is still the man until proven otherwise. It’s not like he’s Damon Jones who only talks and hits a couple of 3’s in the few minutes he gets.

i love gil always have but the more and more i hear about him (his blog this season, the whole injury thing) it makes me think that maybe all the quirky traits hes possesses arent so funny after all i mean i hate to say it but i can see zero being the 2018 jr rider.

He might as well be Damon Jones though. People like him are whats bad for the league. What kind of tantrum is he going to throw now? He’ll never be great. He has a big mouth, he’s injury prone, overrated, and needs help.

Adrian…the Z-Randolph thread is over there.
Gil is a comedian who can ball…(ie Tom Cavanaugh - mini Nash)…As is Baron Davis. As was John Salley…there is generally a few guys in each generation that like to talk, just to see what it does. Shaquille O’Neal is the BIGGEST example of that.
^_^
Exactly.

If the world went according to Raptors fans, the Raptors would go 82-0 and every Raptor would make the All Star team.

Wouldn’t that be true about every team if their fans ruled the world? But if you watch the replays from the final play in regulation, you’d see the intense robbage.
