injury-prone? i wouldn’t call having a guy twice your size slamming your head into the ground being prone to injury

Finally! When TJ gets back on the court, Toronto will once again have the nastiest PG combo in the league. Of course, it’s great to hear he’s healthy.

good news to hear for sure.. though i like Calderone better as a PG, i think Ford has a niche on this team that lacks players who can create their own shots

I really like TJ Ford. Being from Wisconsin, I was disappointed when they traded him, he was on the up and up and Villanueva just isn’t that good at all. Glad he is back in action though, I’ve always been a fan.

Very good news. And I agree with Blackice, I don’t think it’s fair to call a guy injury-prone when he takes a fall like that. I don’t know many people who would be walking around after hitting their head on the floor that hard.

The kid was at his best before he got injury. Like early in his career I think he will come back from his injury being iller than ever. T.J I still have faith in you.

RAPTORS are going to be contenders when he comes back

Krayzie Bone says:
He is injury prone because of his spinal fusion surgury. His first stinger this year happened when he got hit in the chest. He’s not vince carter with a 10 games for a minor ache, but he is actually susceptible to major (and minor) injuries by the very nature of his current physiology.

Ford is not injury-prone..come on. I am so glad that TJ is on his way back. when he returns Jose will still start to begin and you might see the Raps play the two of them together a bit more. Just glad to see TJ back in general.

Krayzie Bone says:
He’s been out 3 times in 2 years with stingers. Horfords foul was brutal looking, but without the neck condition, ford doesn’t miss that much time, and muse about retirement. With his medical history, and the evidence of his fragility demonostrated by the 2 stingers this season, its willful blindness to believe otherwise

make sure next time to hurry up and make the lay-up!!

Feb.4 at 1:37 pm

Krayzie Bone says:
It was mentioned in the paper today, a compouding condition is spinal stenosis, which basically means the space in his spinal column where his spinal cord is too tight, so, combined with his fused veritbrae, there is a point on this body where he is at a much higher risk of paralysis than most people in the world. That combined with a physically taxing job means that he is likley to be out of the league probably before he is 30. That would be a shame because of his talent, and because it sucks to have your career cut short but thats the reality of his body.
