Jermaine O’Neal in the Big Apple?
The Pacers and Jermaine O’Neal are no longer a good fit for one another, and it’s a widely accepted fact that Indy is trying its best to move the gimpy power forward. And from the sound of things, Jermaine wouldn’t mind playing for his old coach, Isiah Thomas, again.
“I think in this business you got to be willing to believe at some point, if your team struggles you are going to be traded,” O’Neal said after the Pacers handed the Knicks their seventh straight loss on Wednesday night. “I would accept it.”
A past-his-prime player making an absurd amount of money? Why, that sounds like a perfect match for the Knicks!
Everyone knows J.O and Isiah are friends, but I’d like to think that even friendship has its limits. With Isiah and the people fiercely loyal (and often, ridiculously so) to him, it doesn’t seem to be the case.

Isiah would only make it happen if the trade included David Harrison, he’d be a perfect fit for the Knicks. Make THAT happen Isiah!

He makes TWENTY million dollars a year, people. Even the Knicks aren’t matching that easily. And Jermaine was just asked whether he was pushing for a new start, or if he would accept one. I was there. This is making a mountain out of a grain of sand. He’s sidelined for the forseeable future anyway. I don’t see JO going anywhere til the summer at the earliest.

For the love of god… no more trades, rumors, anything. Just blow the ship up and rebuild with a GM/Coach who has at least half a clue. I’m willing to support a losing, rebuilding team as long as it leads to something eventually. No Jermaine!

Jermaine Oniel needs to be on a new team and and play in a different state, maybe he might revive his carreer again, and besides he’s been wanting to play under I.Thomas anyway,if CWebb can now play for Golden state then J.O can easily make the transition, get rid of starbury,he’s causing the knicks this bad season and he can’t play along side crawford who is a trillion times better than steph,

For the love of God, with all the trades the Pacers made, we could not get rid of JO. The least the front office could do is give up Jamaal Tinsley for a 6 pack.

Not real surprising that O’Neal sucks now, considering he didn’t become big-time until 4-5 years in the league. His shelf life is long over.

JO for Lee and Jerome James, whoever works money wise, the Knicks have all sorts of horrible deals. Just get Lee out of it and I’d be happy. No Randolph though, his deal is almost as bad as JO’s.
