Worthy of Your Attention

by Marcel Mutoni

Suggested games for you to watch while you await Episode 4 of The Wire on Sunday night …

Suns @ Cavs: Phoenx is playing well of late, but can they handle an even more determined LeBron on the road?

(As a general rule of thumb, when two of the five best players in the whole damn League square off, it’s probably a good idea to tune in.)

Hornets @ Spurs: This is the kind of game that lets us know if New Orleans is for real, for real. Also: the Paul/Parker matchup alone is reason enough to at least check this one out.

Celtics @ Magic; Cavs @ Lakers: With the NFL taking a wholly unnecessary week off before the Superbowl, the NBA has blessed us with two intriguing matchups.

National TV, superstars all over the place, Celtics looking one of their rare losses this season, and of course, LeBron vs. Kobe. Good times.

You know Mutoni, sometimes I really feel bad for not watching on Sundays with the rest of America. I just saw that viewership went down about 20%, dipping under a million (849,000) for last weeks episode. On Demand is one thing, but I think the internet mightve really hurt this last season. Im sorry David, but your product is just too good. I had to have a fix. Or three.

I’d been trying to catch up before Season 5 began but I’m still only halfway through season 4. BTW, The Wire is probably the realest/gulliest television series. Ever.

I JUST WISH I COULD SEE THE CAVS BEAT THE LAKERS BUT I AM GOING TO CHURCH FOR A SUNDAY FLOP. I THINK LEBRON BEING SO MAD WITH THE LOST TO THE SUNS BECAUSE OF LARRY HUGHES INBOUND PASS I THINK LEBRON WILL WANT REVENGE. AFTER BEING ON A FIVE GAME WINNING STREAK I WOULD PLAY MY HARDEST JUST TO KEEP MY TALENT GOING.

Josh says:
Definitely agree with you, Johnathan. LeBron is looking for a BIG W and this game against Kobe in LA is the perfect game to get it. They should’ve beat Phoenix and he wants to continue to prove that the Cavs are FOR REAL!
