The Nuggets’ oft-injured big man, who had taken a mysterious leave of absence last friday, had a tumor removed yesterday according to his personal website. He’s awaiting test results to see if he has testicular cancer.

Yahoo is reporting that Nene had a testicular tumor removed, and that he is doing well. They also report that when he returns his uniform will simply read “Ne” on the back.
