Isiah Thomas Will Make Things Right
Truth be told, he actually will not make things right, but it’s fun to pretend that he will. Or not.
Zeke and his basketball yahoos, also commonly known as the NY Knicks, are in Chicago (Thomas’s hometown) for a tilt with the Bulls tonight, and Isiah says that he’s not leaving the team until he’s fixed the mess that he himself created.
“I know I won’t find a more passionate person and a more committed person to do this than myself,” Thomas said. “Sure, there could be smarter people. But in terms of the determination and a passion to make it right, I know I’m not going to find anyone out there who wants to do it more than I want to do it right now.”
“I am determined to fix this, to make this right,” Thomas said. “That’s how I want to leave it. I want to leave it right.”
How about you just leave, dude? You’ve done enough. Seriously, thanks for everything! We’ll take it from here.

One thing I’m glad for is that I don’t have to see his ugly ass face plastered on the newspaper now that I’m back down south.

Maybe leaving is exactly how he should “make things right”. I’ve parted ways with several females and have had my share of faults, and the right thing to do was to part our seperate ways. Isiah you were a good point guard, but it’s time to go.

I can thing of some truer words: “of course there are smarter people,” would be a start.

Maybe it’s time to get over this whole “You can do it if you just believe in yourself and give it your all.” That’s bullsh!t. What good is it “to want it more” if you’re simply to stupid to get it right?

The real question Isiah should ask himself is how could I screw up so bad. Picture this: with the money he has spent on his players, he could have had following startig lineup: Sheed, T-Dot, ‘Bron, T-Mac, C-Bill plus the entire Pistons bench and a few millions to spare each year. There could be smarter people yeah..

Isiah is dreaming if he thinks he can fix the Knicks. Somebody needs to pinch him and wake his ass up. Where’s Ms. Browne Sanders at?

Lucci’s turnaround comment might be the saddest commenton my fellow knicks fans ever. Isiah jokes are too easy. Dolan jokes work well too. Isiah has lost whatever bit of concience he might have had. He has personally assembled this unbalanced roster, and now has the audacity to criticize them for traits that everyone pointed out upon their arrival in NY. Curry might never be a defender or rebounder? Eddy and Zack might not be a good fit together? Lucci, there is no turnaround coming. I have spent over $2000.00 on tickets and merchandise this year alone, and I only wish i could turn that fact around.

He has destroyed his legacy as a player. Guys like Avery Johnson have solidified their legacy through coaching but Zeke will forever be remembered as the person who destroyed NY. Not as the championship winning PG.

TMT says:
Maybe if he could get: John Starks
Allan Houston or Latrell
Larry Johnson
Charles Oakley
Patrick Ewing To come out of retirement and somehow create a time machine so that the above would be in there primes and that everyone else was 17 years old he may still have a shot this year…

hursty says:
hi TMT, if you could have an allstar 17 year old team it might include:
Mayo, LeBron, Tmac, Kobe, KG, Oden, Crummy (who was still called Kwame then) and … i dunno, at age 17 they could still give the knicks a hell of a game (or lack of) lol.

hursty says:
hopefully, he won’t make a turnover when passing it out of the double team.'’ Isiah on eddy curry in the preview on NBA.com lol. Curry is so offensively imcompetent. as if the rockets will bother doubling on curry with yao there, hes only 7 inches taller, 40 pounds heavier. note ‘hopefully’.

Mark Z says:
Sorry, this guy is a genius. If any of us were this bad at our jobs, we would have be fired 100 times over with our names poisoned to any prospective new employer. Isiah found a cash-rich, clueless owner of a massive franchise and talked himself into a multi-million dollar salary. His boss does not care what he spends, how he spends it, or what results that spending brings in. All Isiah has to do to keep Dolan happy is to put on a happy face, and not say anything negative about the franchise. Granted, that’s probably the most difficult part of the job. Saying anything positive about that collection of players has got to be tough.
