Scott Skiles fired by the Bulls

Everything is shut down for Christmas, including Scott Skiles’ tenure with the Bulls. Merry Christmas indeed! But don’t cry for Scottie, the man has no emotions.
“The fact that it’s Christmas Eve is neither here nor there,” Skiles said. “The timing doesn’t bother me. I’m not destitute.”
Sounds like a fun guy to play for. The Bulls were off to a disappointing start to say the least, I believe Russ may have briefly mentioned it in passing once or twice. But now you have a place to discuss. Once again, Merry Christmas everyone. See ya in a few days. Please no more big news items NBA until the day after the holiday tripleheader. Thanks.

To be honest i am a little bit disappointed… but i think it had to happen. The bulls SUCKED with Skiles this year. I hope that it was the coach that was messing things up (not likely the case) but i just hope a new coach livens things up and that they do better! yes i am a die hard Bulls fan.

You’re right Gerald, WAY too early to say fire Adleman… so when Houston, with two of the best players in the NBA, don’t make the playoffs, is that too early? How about when they trade away Yao or McGrady isn’t of firing the guy clearly to blame, is it too late then? How about letting Bonzi Wells shoot bricks for 30 minutes a game and leave Shane Battier on the bench in every single major defensive set… is it too late then? C’mon. The guy is a horrible coach. I hated him in Sacremento (they had the most solid team I’ve ever seen and never made any noise in the playoffs) and now he’s here to ruin another team. I mean… look at Houston’s roster… should they REALLY be 13-15?
