Myspace contest winner and…
… another site announcement
Search deep within the inner confines of your soul. Now ask yourself, is there anything better than a site announcement post? That is a rhetorical question. Of course not!
Two big things.
1) We had our SLAM’s 1000th friend on the myspace page contest. The winner will receive a set of LeBron/Nike poker chips. Sorry Donaghy, you just barely missed out. Head over there for more details.
2) On the front page, you will notice the SLAM High School rankings in the upper right corner. Those are always Aggrey’s latest rankings. When he first posts them, they will appear in the columnist are as “New”, but there is no way for that graphic in the corner to change. Just know that whenever you need the latest high school rankings, you can always go there.
Hmmmm… what else to say, what else to say… football season, not as excited as last year. Delgado finally on the DL where he belongs. My friend saw a guy on the train wearing a t-shirt that said “I hope you like animals, cause I’m a BEAST!”
That’s about it.

Any word on the recent choppiness of the website? At first I thought it was my laptop, but then I tried it on my girlfriend’s and at school. It is lagging everywhere I go! Help me Sam! ! !

oh that. The site works fine… as long as nobody posts anything new. Once someone writes a new post, all kinds of weird stuff happens. It’s almost as if the computer Gods are sending us a message not to do any work.
