Today I overslept. Apparently I got a phone call about 6:45 about some meeting we were supposed to have later that morning, but I don’t remember anything about a phone call. They told me about it after I had missed the meeting. All I remember is the phone rang, I rolled over, and I guess I knocked the phone over with my pillow, but I didn’t answer. So I ended up being late for the meeting I didn’t even know was taking place. Donte didn’t tell me anything; he didn’t wake me up. He just bounced on me. I was brushing my teeth and getting ready like it was a regular day, by the time I got downstairs I saw everybody getting up and they were like “We are done. get on the bus.” Nobody was mad at me, but I felt bad for missing the meeting.
After that, we took a bus to our practice, and did that for about 2 hours. It was a good one; it felt good mainly because I haven’t really practiced in few days. After our practice we went to the BET studios, we did 106 and Park. I think its going to air on Friday cause they did the l’il freestyle Friday jump-off. Young Buck came through, and he was cool as hell. Now we are on our way to the celebrity all-star game they are having for us. You know, dunk contest and 3 point shoot out, the usual. Should be fun. Today has been very eventful. Tonight, all of us will probably kick it in the game again, until we get kicked out like last night!
As I read everybody’s posts, I’m very happy that all you guys want me to play for your schools. Just to let you know, I appreciate all the love, but I have to do what’s best for me. I shall reveal my school in due time.

I wonder if Pat has even considered Marshall. The boy is good enough to one and out, so why not pick the hometown shool? He’d get the most love there, I think.
I was also wondering if we could get Pat to comment on his feelings for his exteammate - OJ Mayo. An inside point of view would be nice, from the outside it doesnt look too good. There is no doubting Mayo’s skills, but attitude and arrogance seem to be a problem.

The players we already have, plus the ones coming in, and you and Jai along with possibly another one or two studs…. WOW !! A dynasty in the works. I know many people are msg’n you tryin to tell you were to go. While many people want to try and talk you into things i understand how hard it is to make this type of dicision. i had to do the same for baseball. I am a die hard Kentucky fan and just want to let you know that the Big Blue Nation is completely behind you. We are very excited about our new coach and look forward to the direction that he plans on taking the program. That being said, im sure your decision will be the best for you so good luck making it. i live in Huntington and hope you the best man. I know you have a hard decision to make but you said yourself no one ever showed you their plans for you like Coach G at UK. Look want he did for Acie Law. I believe he will get you ready for the big bucks of the NBA. You want competition You got it at UK. They play the toughest schedule in the nation. Pat, Can you imagine big blue madness, and your first game at Rupp? Gives me chills thinking about it. Who wouldn’t want to play in front of 24,000 die hard fans, compared to at 12,000 seat arena that doesn’t sell out. No matter where you go, I am a fan.

Hey Patrick, just want to wish you and Jai the best for the game this weekend. I know you guys have a huge decision to make. I’m not here to try to sway your decision at all, however all the cat fans here at work are really hoping you guys come to the bluegrass. We could really use both of you to add additional banners in Rupp Arena. There are 7 National Championship banners in Rupp and I’m absolutely positive Billy G will add several more once he gets the players in place. This program has the chance to be the best it even has been. I think Billy G could be the best coach since Adolph Rupp. I think there are many special times ahead for the Kentucky Wildcats. This is a very exciting time for Kentucky basketball fans. I don’t know if anyone can understand who supportive the cat fans are. We do have high expectations for the basketball program, but we also are very supportive. We always fill the stands, it doesnt matter if we are winning or losing. I know we can bring the program back to dominance with the help of you and Jai. Billy Gillispie with go from the 10 rated best coach to #1 in just a few years. Have you seen UK’s 30 million dollar practice facility? UK has more fans at their practices than Florida does at thier home games. This will better prepare you for the NBA arenas! Good luck wherever you go! It did pay off to wait with all the coaching changes!

I don’t understand why any of these schools or their fans would want someone who is so selfish as to only consider themself when making their college choice. Patrick, I see you are getting a lot of love from the Big Blue Nation. But us Gators love you too, our returning players got the opportunity to play against future NBA players in practice everyday and that experience will only help them next year. Kentucky has no decent players on their team, we already have two all Americans coming in and with you and Jai you can be the ’07s. You can shock the world with your freshmen teammates and go for the threepeat by exhibiting the same qualities of unselfishness and teamplay that typifies the Florida Gators. Plus (i have to add) we have extremely hot (and friendly) girls who will be all over you the second you step foot on campus. Gainesville was the best four years of my life and it can be for you too.
