Patrick Patterson Day 2

While he spends a week in NYC preparing for Saturday’s Jordan Classic, Patrick Patterson shares his thoughts with slamonline Click on the Jordan Brand logo at the top left of the slamonline homepage to read Patrick’s diary all week.

As told to Konate Primus

Last night we went to dinner at an Italian restaurant called Diorios. I ordered a salad and the woman brought me a plate full of tomato slices, onions, and cucumbers. There were like two pieces of lettuce on that plate. I’m not going to front, I was a little bit upset. I was like “This isn’t what I ordered. I ordered salad, not tomatoes and onions.” Dinner was kind of wack.

Today was cool. I got some much-needed rest. I woke up about 11:30 a.m. and me and my roommate Donte Green ordered some room service, tore that up real quick, then we got ready to head out to ESPN the Magazine headquarters around 12:30 or so. We’ve just been chilling out here and walking around. Right now we are in the basement shooting around playing horse with some kind of Nerf ball and a little hoop. I’m killing ’em. They can’t stop me on this hoop.

Tomorrow is media day, so I’ve got to get ready for that. I’m sure that just like on this diary, everyone will want to know where I’m going to school. But the truth is I don’t know yet. Maybe I’ll have a better answer on Friday.

Tomorrow I’m also going to work out. I haven’t had a chance to get a practice in since we got in yesterday. I have to keep my game sharp. I want to have a good game on Saturday.

Tonight, Donte and I are probably just going to chill out in the hotel or we might go and check the city out. I don’t know what we’ll do. We’re just going to go with the flow of things and see how we feel later.
