Player of the D.A.Y.
It’s down to two guys with short names
T.J. Ford had a monster game for the Raptors, while Yao was overpowering against Orlando. Hmmm… tough call, and normally I would overlook what T.J. did because it was against the Sonics. However, when Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis are hitting their shots, the Sonics are an actual NBA team. That was the case against Toronto in a game that went to overtime.
Yao was so dominant, the game never came close to OT. This is a toss up. Yao’s 37 and 7 that led to an easy win? Or T.J.’s 25 and 13 in a tight game.
Hmmmm….
I’ll go with T.J. Ford for Player of the D.A.Y., since he shot 11 of 15 with Earl Watson unable to slow him down.
In other news, you may remember the recent Taco Bell horror story about the rats. I guess I’m choosing to use this space to keep tabs on the misbehavings of the fast food world. I have always been a big Quizno’s fan, even before Andrew Bynum started going there. Whether it’s the Mesquite chicken, the carbonara, even their stupidly big roast beef monstrosity, I always promote Quizno’s.
Until now. This is ugly. There is a link to someone’s suicide note on that page. Et tu Quizno’s? Why does everything have to be such an evil corporation?

…i remember when i was telling folks that T.J Ford for Charlie Villanueva wasn’t a bad deal for the Raptors, and folks were fixing to bite my head off. Doesn’t look like such a bad trade now, does it?

…also, its a shame about the suicide dude, but as long as that doesn’t affect the taste of my toasted subs, Quizno’s has a friend in me.

TJ Ford trade is looking good. Anthony Parker and Garbajosa signing are looking good. Even Bargnani showed a lot of potential and is scoring in high teens lately. If we redo the draft again people won’t question how he could be no. 1. Fred Jones signing and subsequent trade are nonplussed. Bosh is an All Star and the Raptors are winning. Somebody should vote Colangelo to exec of the year.

Yo, I never get subs or cheese steaks from chains (subway, quizno’s, etc.) I always go to deli’s or the lil’ shops in the middle of the hood… until I got stationed in Colorado. I would do anything for a six-pack and some chicken rings.

Agree, Colangelo turns Phoenix into a great team, and now his 2nd project is working as well. Remember even Lang criticised him trading a young PF for an injury-proned PG? Now who’s the genius? I told you guys, European style is going to rule the league. With the rule change you need more crafty players and positioning.

A while back you guys had some TJ Ford player exclusives in the mag with the TJ11 on the side. I got a pair of those. That makes me not want to eat at Quizno’s. Here in Kansas we have Planet Sub which is way better any way & started in the home of the Jayhawks.
