US vs. Korea
UPDATE: Oh, never mind…
OK, if you really need your fix of hoops, Team USA will take on Korea, live tonight at 1:30 a.m. on ESPN2.
I’m going to stay up late tonight and watch it and post comments down below on this thread.
If you’re awake, join me right here tonight…late…
UPDATE: You guys are right — the game is being tape-delayed. That’s what I get for believing the USA Basketball website.

We with u Lang. We with u.
Just tell me where to watch here in Slovenia?;) I just catched the game between Lithuania & USA yesterday and I was very impressed with the game USA is playing right now but this one thing bothered me. We all now the NBA players like to play run & gun but sometimes during the game I was wondering couldnt they just make a better play. There was a lot of shooting from outside and may I say that the outside shooting was why the USA wasnt as good during the last World Championship and at the last Olympics. I know there are some pure shooters in this squad but what if they have another poor shooting night like against Brazil I think a team like Spain could beat them. Although I dont like Kobe, he would be osom as a go to guy in this team because I am often worried that Lebron would just kill a guy when he is in a full motion towards the baske. And we all know that international refeeres are just pussies;) Go USA(just not against Slovenia:) )

I’m still awake, so I think I’m gonna play Madden until 1:30 and see what the deal is. Maybe I’ll get to go to bed early if it’s not on. My cable system has tape-delayed tennis listed. Although it also says here it’s on at 1:30 a.m. http://www.usabasketball.com/seniormen/2006/06_mwc_espn2.html

Guys there’s a bunch of internet p2p streaming programs with various Asian stations that broadcast preparation games for WC. If you have broadband sky is the limit, I just saw France vs. Brasil on CCTV5, the commentary was in chinese but what the hell, basketball is still basketball.

I almost forgot about the high point of the day, during half time they ran a studio interview with Shaq who recently signed with Chinese sporting goods manufacturer Li-Ning and is on tour in Asia (Shaw was wearing t-shirt with Dunkman and Li-Ning logo). It was another hilarious camera appearance by Shaq who was asking the hosts how to say things in Chinese (Shaq: How do you say “I love you”). The hosts made this interview even funnier with their Enrish, so Shaq seemed confused at moments, which made this very pleasing TV experience for all the viewers.
