SLAM 18
A lot of people were afraid of Allen Iverson. Look, he has a TATTOO! He’s got a few more today. As a young player he was a threat to everything the old guard held sacred. While Jordan and Magic were happy to give the people what they wanted from their athletic heroes, Allen wouldn’t play that game. SLAM wasn’t afraid of him, thus the cover. His second one so far, with many many more on the way.

I remember this one so well. I very good cover. I remember the whole story about how and where I bought it and where I read it!
I bought it at the Newsagents opposite the opticians in Hornsea, East Yorkshire, UK. I read the Iverson feature in the parking lot at Hornsea Mere.
The next day I travelled to the neighbouring county and read the Timberwolves feature in a pub car park in Mattersea Thorpe, Lincolshire.
