SLAM Radio
The greatest basketball radio show of all time returns to the air.

We tried this last week, but we had to push pause because the studio wasn’t finished being remodeled. But that’s finished now, and SLAM Radio is set to return to the air tomorrow night. We’ll be on live, from 8:00 until 10:00 p.m. EST, and you can listen in live only at eastvillageradio.com. Of course, we’ll have it available the next day as a podcast, too, so you’ll be able to listen in at your leisure.
And if you have any requests — from music to topics for us to cover — post them in the comments section below. We’ll do our best to tackle everything you throw at us.

Do a segment where you air songs by current and past NBA players, for example, I remember years ago seeing a commercial for a Jamal Mashburn album. Take a vote to find the best and worst rapper in the L. My frontrunner is Ron Artest, with AI a close second. Remember when he pissed off gay and lesbian groups a few years back??

My only suggestion is to post the playlist the day after the show, since sometimes it takes Tone’ a little while to post the most recent one. Since i know DJ Blare’s a futbol fan, why not discuss the Zenidine Zidane incident for one of the radio topics? (even though everyone has pretty much said all there is to say about it.) Looking forward to Killa Sam’s latest…..
