Look at this photo. Is he grabbing a rebound? That’s how high the Reignman could jump. And the shoes! Shawn Kemp should have been on the cover regularly for the next 10 years, but he let himself go. This is his second and final SLAM cover. Meanwhile, some of the names you see from smaller features in this issue, like Keith Van Horn, Earl Boykins, and Eddie Jones, are still active in the NBA.
