Another player leaves school after his freshman season for a future that promises to include a high NBA Draft Lottery pick: “Georgia Tech freshman Derrick Favors is one-and-done. The 6-foot-10, 245-pound Favors, a Georgia native who averaged 12.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game this past season, will sign with an agent and forgo his final three years in college. An official announcement is expected on Friday afternoon.”
