Schea Cotton ‘Manchild’ Documentary Sees Success in L.A. (PHOTOS)

The “LeBron before LeBron” Schea Cotton debuted his documentary ‘Manchild’ in Los Angeles recently, filling up the viewing rooms at each of the three showings. Makes sense, as the trailer looks dope:

At the end of the screener, NBA stars Paul Pierce and Metta World Peace joined Cotton for a Q+A session. See the images from the Los Angeles event up top and read more details from the presser below.

After almost 20 years, Cotton finally opened up in the inspiring documentary, titled Manchild ‘The Schea Cotton Story: A Dream Deferred,’ about his life devoted to the game of basketball.

The Los Angeles screener packed all three viewing rooms at the historical Raleigh Studios on Melrose Ave. Viewers laughed, cried and continuously applauded throughout the showing, which left them in awe of the documentary.

With a successful Los Angeles screener, Cotton is now bringing the private piece to Toronto during one of the biggest basketball events of the year, NBA All Star Weekend. Confirmed to attend are former NBA players Rory Sparrow and Tracy Murray, along with Toronto Raptor Rookie and former Bruin, Norman Powell.
