Dallas will have a WNBA team for the first time in the league’s 20-year history this season. One of the young leaders of the new Dallas Wings franchise is DFW native Odyssey Sims, who’s been keeping very busy with training, radio appearances and speaking engagements.
The MacArthur (TX) High School and Baylor University standout was drafted second overall by the Tulsa Shock in 2014 and has averaged 16.4 points and 4.0 assists over two WNBA seasons. After leading the franchise to its first post-season appearance in six seasons, Sims is ready to put Dallas women’s hoops on the map.
