When just about everybody wrote Houston off after a complete dismantling by Golden State in Game 3, the Rockets showed they still have plenty of fight with an impressive 128-115 win to stay alive.
Led by Josh Smith—rocking the adidas Crazylight Boost 2015—Houston came out scorching hot, starting the game on a 12-0 run en route to a record-tying 45 points in the first quarter and a 23-point advantage. Midway through the second quarter, Golden State suffered a major scare as Steph Curry took a nasty spill during a block attempt against Trevor Ariza. The League MVP would leave the game and in his absence, Klay Thompson, finally sporting his signature Anta KT Fire, would rally Golden State and cut Houston’s lead to just 10 points entering the half.
But James Harden—in the Nike Zoom Run the One—would make sure his Rockets would stay ahead for good with clutch shooting and a playoff career-high 45 points to help stymie Golden State’s comeback attempts.
