A select group of fans, media, and industry folk gathered on Saturday night in NYC to celebrate the upcoming release of the King Push x adidas Originals EQT Guidance ’93. Held in a location adjacent to the adidas Originals store in SoHo, the space was arranged in a gallery-type setting, allowing attendees to get a first-hand look at the collaboration as well as be visually stimulated by both the surrounding art and the trio of dancers on stage.
The highlight of the evening was Pusha T’s performance of his latest track, “Lunch Money.” He came out sporting his EQTs along with a well-coordinated outfit. After his performance, Pusha conveyed a heartfelt apology for having the event the same night as the Millions March, stating had he known about it in advance and if the event hadn’t been so far along, he would’ve postponed it. The audience acknowledged his statement with cheers as he walked off stage and the evening came to an end.
