With all the hoopla surrounding the LeBron 9, it’s easy to overlook other prominent releases of late. Today, pictures surfaced for the signature shoes of Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony, both Jordan endorsers. DWade and Melo traveled to China with Chris Paul on a Jordan Brand tour, and now both will be releasing sneakers within a month of each other.
The Melo M8 features Flywire technology, and comes in a couple different colorways, the most popular likely to be the New York Knicks edition. The M8s will be available in mid-November.
Also on deck is the Fly Wade II, which comes on the heels of the Heat’s trip to the NBA Finals. Set to drop December 7 at $145 retail, here are the details, courtesy of CounterKicks:
The cushioning base of the shoe features a full-length Lunarlon foam midsole and a synthetic anodized upper. Designed by Jordan Brand creative director Mark Smith, the Fly Wade 2 also introduces Wade’s new player logo on the tongue which represents four things: “W” for Wade, number “3″ for Wade’s uniform, “E” for East Coast, and an upside down “M’ for Miami.
Props to CounterKicks and SneakerNews for the pics.
